What’s in it for THEM? When it comes to your products and offers, why does your audience need them? Answer this question and you’ll make massive strides in your marketing efforts.
What do they NEED?
When you think about your ideal client, what comes to mind when you think of their needs? This is beyond what they think they want, but really about what solution they need. Does your offer or product provide that? Take note of the ways it can solve their need and outline that. Utilize those benefits as you have conversations online and in your automation.
Stop With the Fake Scarcity
We all know the “deadlines” and sales are not real. Unless you are actually doing flash sales or offering products for a short time that are not available always, don’t promote these tactics. What if as marketers we had never ventured into the space of using tech to create false scarcity? What if we had simply let our products speak for themselves and did the work?
Sell Without Selling Out
Sell out of your products and offers, sure. But don’t be a sell out. Don’t compromise your integrity and forget you are marketing and selling to actual people! If you are able to be authentic and honest in everything you do, your audience will sense that. They will appreciate your representation of your offers far more than those who rely on scare tactics to sell.
