Have you ever made a major shift or pivot in your business? Do you know when it’s time to realign or change a component of what you do, and actually do it? I have been podcasting for over 4 years now, and it all started with my first show- Marvelous Moms Club.
I had no idea what I was doing as a business owner. And really didn’t even consider myself to be one, because all I had was a podcast. But I treated my podcast like a business that was generating millions from day 1. I was committed to it, and I LOVED what I was doing.
Fast forward a year or so, and I got caught up in success in a way that I was able to leverage all of my hard work of the podcast- but now there simply wasn’t as much room for the show in my life. Or so I thought.
What the real issue was, is that I wasn’t in alignment with the reasons I started the podcast to begin with. I had always had a passion to help women step into their greatness, but somewhere in there I started doing more parenting episodes and coaching mommies in ways that I wasn’t excited about. And now I was this mega entrepreneur and the only episodes I wanted to do were business ones.
So How Do You Realign Yourself With Your Business?
It took me a while, and a few times I almost shut down the podcast altogether. But then I realized it was as simple as redefining, or defining for the first time, what I really wanted to do. How I wanted to show up. Instead of creating something I felt had control over me and that I felt disconnected from, I asked myself what I really wanted to do.
So here we are, on what is technically episode 250 of my podcast, but episode #1 after “the shift”.
This show is no longer Marvelous Moms, but it sure will be full of marvelous things!
I hope you enjoy, and can be a part of this amazing community!
Same host, same dreams and same vision, different names and intros and “labels”. If you are in a place in life where you want to show up FULLY and stop making excuses, then you’ve come to the right place.
This is Marvelous, and I’m glad you’re here.
