CHELSEA’S GOT TALENT
It was clear early on that Chelsea had real talent. Her theater teacher in high school was the first to let Chelsea’s parents know she had potential to go far in her career. Starring in Annie was her first major role, but she followed it up with other roles in community theater. She went on to pursue musical theater, earning a degree at the prestigious University of Michigan and earned her BFA.
BROADWAY BOUND
The rubber hit the road when Chelsea graduated and moved to New York City. She was suddenly with thousands of other talented hopefuls, all with the same dream of making it on Broadway. To support herself as she auditioned, she started teaching voice lessons. Little did she know this venture would have more significance down the road.
CHELSEA MAKES IT BIG
Chelsea decided to put auditioning on hold and go all in with her studio. This decision opened her up to opportunities she could have never imagined. She became the coach for prestigious shows on Broadway like “School of Rock”, and “Phantom of the Opera”. At the end of the day, it was this path that ended up landing Chelsea’s name in the playbill of a Broadway show.
