It’s likely you recognize Lisa from her stint as the face of Chatbooks in some of the most hilarious commercials on the internet. What you may not know, is while auditioning and filming for the commercial, Lisa’s personal life was far from comical. At least, sometimes. Most of the time in spite of facing a harrowing disease with her husband Christopher, Lisa managed to find joy every day.
FAMILY CULTURE OF FUN
Lisa has never allowed her role of “mom” to take a backseat to her career. Raising five children, she started to worry her brain was going to “mush” as many women worry about after years of caring for everyone else. But what she realized was that the very experiences she had lived as a mother, served her content and improv talents in a way she’d never have been able to achieve otherwise.
HOBBIES TURNED CAREER
Most people dream of their hobbies or passions actually generating income. Lisa managed to find a ver non-traditional path that led her to roles in movies, television shows, and hosting her own podcast, The Lisa Show.
The way she describes her path is both inspiring and eye opening. In a world where we want the “safe” and linear path, Lisa showcases that simply by creating a LIFE, rather than being labeled by what you do, can open doors beyond your wildest dreams.
